Your choices
stay in your browser.

Character Lab calculates quiz results on your device. The quiz code does not upload answers or result types to a server.

Answers and tab progress

When available, sessionStorage saves only the current quiz’s answer choices, question position, phase, quiz identifier, and data version. Each quiz has its own key. A refresh can restore valid progress in the same tab; Retake Quiz clears only that quiz’s saved progress. Session storage is normally cleared when the tab’s session ends, though browser session restoration behavior can vary.

If storage is blocked or unavailable, you can still complete a quiz. Your progress may not survive a refresh. Invalid, incomplete, or incompatible stored records return the quiz to its start. The site does not ask for names, email addresses, birthdays, photos, health information, or private relationship history.

Website features

There are no forms, accounts, advertising scripts, third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or external font services. The site does not set cookies. All text, illustrations, and quiz scripts are served as local website assets.

Hosting and technical requests

Cloudflare hosts the site. Delivering pages and operating and protecting its services may involve processing technical request information such as IP addresses, traffic data, and system information. This is separate from the quiz answers processed in your browser.

See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy for its practices. A claim that quiz answers are not uploaded does not mean that a visit to a hosted website involves no data processing.

Future changes
